The Aedes de Venustas Musc Encensé Eau de Parfum is a smooth, woody perfume that combines a yin and yang balance of extremes; one day it feels madly musky, the next insanely ‘incensey’.
Created by Ralf Schwieger, the EDP draws inspiration from the depth and intensity of animal musk, an ingredient no longer used in Western perfumery, and one that arguably, cannot be mimicked with synthetic components. Blending his own rendition of Tonkin Musk, Schwieger creates a spicy and subtly sexy fragrance, calling it Encensé: playing on the French for 'encens’ (incense) and ‘insensé’ (crazy).
An Amber accord runs through the fragrance, interrupted by Clary Sage, Cashmeran and creamy Tonka.
Housed in a striking flacon with uniquely positioned cap adorned with the Aedes insignia.
