Hydrating but heavy on the skin!
First time trying Aesop. Love their principle but I find this cream utterly thick on the face. I have been using thick moisturisers for years now and most would sink into the skin or leave a nice sheen but none have ever felt this thick on my face. I feel like I'm wearing a mask! Additionally it is also so difficult to spread this across the skin. Not sure if it's cause the texture of the cream itself is thick or the ingredients do not contain enough water properties to make it glide smoothly.

This product is astonishing. I have used and had a career in premium skincare for over a decade and for my skin concern during colder months, this has knocked my socks off. The texture is incredible and result is outstanding. Optimally hydrated, smoother, softer and even-toned skin. Previous winters I have suffered blotchy red and dry flaky eczema triggered but the cold. I have used serums, oils, changed to all natural ingredients - I tried it all. This is the first product I have used that seems to have truly cured and created a barrier! I already am obsessed with Aesop but after using this product, I am ready to sell them my soul.

Great product, good service
Aesop always deliver great products and this is a joy to have even though the weather is getting warmer. The service was a little questionable as my first delivery arrived broken but i was sent a replacement in no time so cannot fault that. Strongly recommended product and service.
