Anti-ageing is something which everyone hears, but often overlooks in their skincare regimes. However, it’s simply products or techniques designed to prevent visible signs of ageing. This means it’s easy to include in your routine in the form of creams, moisturisers, cleansers, lifestyle changes and more. Prevention is easier than a cure, so everyone should use anti-ageing before they start to see their skin change.

Why Should You Use Anti-Ageing?

As already mentioned, it’s easier to prevent your skin from ageing than reverse it, so you should use anti-ageing to maintain a youthful appearance. This means that you should start incorporating it into your routine in your early 20’s. As you get older, you’ll begin to notice the difference in your skin changes to those around you who aren’t using anti-ageing, and you’ll be glad you made the effort to start early.

What Causes Premature Skin Ageing?

Hundreds of factors contribute to ageing of the skin, but some are worse than others. Spending time in the sun without using SPF, drinking alcohol and smoking are a few causes of premature skin ageing. Not using an appropriate skincare regime also causes skin to appear aged.  The other significant cause is bad diet, which prevents your body from receiving the vitamins and nutrients it needs to protect your skin.
