We’ve previously covered taking care of dry skin on the blog, but never the latter. In light of this, we’ve put together a guide on combating dehydrated skin to help those suffering with it.
How to Combat Dehydrated Skin
If you have dehydrated skin, the first step is to wash using warm water instead of hot. Opt for a fragrance-free, gentle cleanser too as this will reduce the amount of moisture drawn from the skin. Make sure to replace any lost hydration using a good quality moisturiser and stay hydrated, drinking plenty of water. This will replenish the skin from the inside out. In your skincare regime, you should aim to use a gentle cleanser, followed by a restoring toner and a non-fragranced moisturiser. These will nourish the skin for a healthy complexion.
