Thinning hair is incredibly common amongst men, with 40% of men experiencing noticeable hair loss by age 35. As hair is such a main focus point when it comes to appearance, it’s not surprising that it affects a lot of men’s confidence. According to studies, 47% of hair loss sufferers would spend their life savings to regain a full head of hair. Luckily, that is not necessary and you can create the appearance of a full head of hair easily with the Nanogen Thickening Fibres.

What Are Nanogen Thickening Fibres?

Nanogen Thickening Fibres are small keratin fibres which add volume and thickness to hair. Made from the same fibrous protein found in hair strands, they cling to your own hair all day without falling down to your scalp. They’re also quite resilient, staying put through wind, light rain and exercise without the colour running, staining or leaving marks. Clinging to the hair using Kinetic™ technology, they’re electrostatically charged and are removed from the hair by shampooing.

How to Use Nanogen Thickening Fibres:

Step 1: Style

Start by styling your own hair, creating the hairstyle you want as you would usually do. Aim to use your natural hair to cover as much of your scalp as you can. This will help you to see where you’ll need to build extra thickness during the next step.

Step 2: Add Fibres

Simply sprinkle a small amount of the correct shade of fibres onto the areas where the hair needs more thickness and volume. Lightly add in more until you feel that there are enough to create the effect you want. A 30g tub of the fibres should last for approximately 2 months.

Step 3: Blend

Once the fibres are added, gently blend them into your natural hair with your fingers. Don’t be too rough as this can break the electrostatic bonds, causing the fibres to stop clinging to your natural hairs.

Step 4: Set

This step is completely optional as the fibres should stick to the hair on their own. However, for some extra strength, set them into place using the Nanogen Hair Fibre Locking Spray. This adds a physical binder to your natural hair and creates a waterproof barrier.
