Witches Brew
Witches Brew looks exactly how you’d expect it to. This red cocktail with a spooky green glow coming from within will not only taste awesome but spook people out too. Even though this recipe only serves one, it’s quick and easy to make so you can always make more!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 60ml Midori
- 30ml Vodka
- 15ml Triple Sec
- 15ml Lemon juice
- 3 strawberries
Method:
Take a cocktail shaker and muddle the strawberries and lemon juice. Next, add the vodka and triple sec. Shake it vigorously and pour Midori into a martini glass, followed by the strawberry cocktail. You’ll be left with a glowing witches brew which tastes amazing!
Caramel Apple Punch
Serving 6, the Caramel Apple Punch is one of the most efficient ways to serve a large group of people. As long as you remember to prepare 12 hours before you need it, prep time is next to nothing whilst the flavours come out on top!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 945ml apple cider
- 1 ¼ cup spiced rum
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 red apple, thinly sliced
Method:
Simply take a large pitcher or punch bowl and add the apple cider, rum and lemon juice. Stir and chill for up to 12 hours. Once chilled, add some ice cubes and garnish with the thin apple slices.
Pumpkin Martini
For those of you who prefer an autumn-themed Halloween cocktail, the Pumpkin Martini is the one. Don’t be deceived by its soothing appearance, it has an added kick to surprise unsuspecting drinkers…
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tbsp. vodka
- 2 tbsp. half cream
- 1 tbsp. Canned pure pumpkin puree
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- ¼ tsp. pure vanilla extract
Method:
Begin by combining the sugar and half of the pumpkin pie spice on a small plate. Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass in water, followed by the pumpkin pie spice sugar to coat it. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, half cream, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract and the remainder of the pumpkin pie spice. Vigorously shake and strain into the sugar-rimmed glass.
Bloody Maria
Gorey cocktail lovers, this one’s for you. Bloody Maria is the perfect blend of horror, tang and taste, a completely unique drink. This recipe serves one but don’t be afraid to double up to make another for you or someone else.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- ¾ cup tomato juice
- 3 tbsp. tequila
- 3 tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1 lime wedge
- 1 tsp. hot sauce
- ¼ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- Pinch of celery salt
- 1 pimento-stuffed olive
- 1 gherkin
Method:
Take a medium bowl and combine the tomato juice, tequila, lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and celery salt, ensuring to stir well. With a toothpick, skewer the lime wedge, olives and gherkin, serve the cocktail over ice and garnish with the pick.
Black Widow Shot
Not quite a cocktail but rather a venomous Halloween shot. Black Widow shots are super easy to make and are great for a Halloween party. Just be careful not to take too many otherwise you’ll feel like you’ve been bitten by a Black Widow the next morning!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 45ml black vodka
- 15ml cranberry juice
- 1 cherry
- Red sugar crystals
Method:
Take a small cocktail glass rim with red sugar crystals. Fill it with crushed ice, pour in the cranberry juice and gently layer the black vodka. Garnish with a cherry and serve. The ultimate Halloween cocktails shot!
