Everyone should own one

Purchased this almost 4 months ago before there were any reviews here (or elsewhere). The product is brilliant - I've just started on my third Fusion cartridge, previously I would have used three in a month.

Best thing I have bought in ages

Ok, so I unwrapped it and thought it was just a very expensive rubber razor holder. I then tested it with some old, blunt Gillette Fusion and Sensor blades..and err..well it works!! The blades are very much sharper and gave a very good shave as good as a new blade. I would urge other wet shave users to try it as it will save you a fortune in blades and I shall certainly be buying them as presents.

Very impressive!

I bought this wondering how effective it really would be - I'm amazed at how effectively it sharpens a Gillette Fusion razor (both sides). I've been using the same blade for over two months and I have thick stubble that normally blunts a blade within days! I've saved a fortune already - brilliant product!

Unreal honest

After reading various reviews left by others I thought why not. I purchased the sharpner a couple of weeks ago and as soon as it arrived I looked at it and thought what a rip off But I used it first on an old blade a gillett Fusion that had been used about 6 times and so far I have had about 7 shaves on it and it really does work. You got to try this it will save you a fortune in blades....

Not as good as I had hoped...

I had high hopes for this item and thought it would be a good way of saving money on overpriced razor blades. However, I have to say I am rather disapointed. After using the RazorPit I noticed no difference to the blades at all. I had followed the (somewhat vague) instructions to the letter but can only conclude that the product seems like a good idea in theory - but in practice it falls far short. Best avoided.

Agree with the OK product review above. It only cleans not sharpens one side of the blade. It does extend the life of my Fusion blade but is it worth the price.

First off this does not sharpen your blade. Dont know why this site claims it does the packaging clearly states that it just cleans your blade.So does it work. Somewhat. It does appear to stretch out the life of my Fusion blade a little while longer but was getting a fairly good life out of the blades by using good quality shaving cream and rinsing the blades well after use.Ultimately it can only clean one side of your blade and there is the problem.Considering the price of blades it doesnt take long to pay for itself.Not bad product but no miracle either

Razorpit - still tryinng to decide if it works.

I bought a couple of Razorpits about 7 weeks ago. One for each of my houses. I am still evaluating but I'm increasingly doubtful of the benefits. It seems to extend the blade-life a little. Perhaps two weeks instead of one but beyond that I seem to be finding the blade becomes less sharp quite quickly requiring a lot of pressure on the face to get it to do a semi-decent shaving job. I don't say it's completely useless but I think the hype surrounding it is much exaggerated.
